We have over five years experience
showcasing firework displays, firework retailers,
events and a lot more - and if you're a firework company
or have any firework related material you want to
publish, we can help! What better home for a feature
on your company or displays than here, the UK's biggest
fireworks website?
Whether you'd like us to come along
to see you, or you have your own pictures or video
you'd like to send us, this section will tell you
more about the options open to you.

If you're a reader, member or a firework company
and you have pyro-related material, we'd be interested
in using it for our site.
We have created many excellent features from material
supplied by third parties. For example, our TLG series
of reports were compiled from text reports and photographs
supplied by a member - click
here for an example. As you can see, we can wave
our "magic wand" over material and tranform
it into an engaging and colourful feature.
|
... my stories come to life with the pics I
send and the write-ups, juggling them around
and coming up with excellent features.
- TLG

We can work with both digital and analogue video
(VHS, 8mm, Hi-8, Digital 8 or Mini DV) and digital
and traditional (35mm prints) photographs. We respect
copyright (see section below) and will give credit
for the material where due.

Video grab
from a member-supplied tape. We've published many
features
created entirely from material taken from a single
tape!
 |
With pictures and video we prefer to work with
the SOURCE material so we can get the best possible
results, optmised for the site. We can return
all original material sent to us and if used
for a feature, cover your postage costs.
|
Whether it's a back garden display or a major event,
if you have any fireworks material you think our readers
would enjoy, please contact
us.

We travel to an increasing number of firework events
each year with a view to showcasing them here on the
UKFR. From £500 wedding displays to massive
musical extravaganzas, if there's pyro involved then
we're interested!
For more information and to see what we can do, you
should have a look at our best portfolio - our actual
Features section. If you
are then interested in having us along to one of your
displays, please contact us.

Our business has benefited from the very professional
features you have done with us... It has been
a pleasure to work with you as you have always
done a sterling job in showcasing our products
and our service.

address and a daytime contact telephone number.
|
 |
The date(s) and location of your display or
event.
|
 |

our readers would benefit from seeing it showcased
here.
|

Digital
stills, digital camcorders, wireless technology
and tradional 35mm film, all in use at this display.
We enjoy our
work immensely and it shows!
Please note that we attend the majority of displays

providing the resulting material is of benefit to
our site and our readers.

|
If you are a larger company, or you are involved
in the PR for a fireworks company, we welcome press
releases about displays. Where the press release describes
an event in its entirety and is accompanied by photos,
we can sometimes compile these into a feature (at
no charge to you). Our readers benefit from useful
firework related content and you or your client will
benefit from the publicity. For an example of a feature
created from press release material and additional
material provided by a member, see the Liverpool
Anglican Cathedral page.
Press releases should be sent to the e-mail address
on our contact us page.
Please be sure to include the following information:
 |
The name of your company, your name, your company
address and a daytime contact telephone number.
|
 |
Permission to use the press release in its
entirety, if required, for a feature.
|
 |
If sending images, details of who to credit
the picture and copyright to, and permission
from the copyright holder to duplicate the images
here for no fee. Please note: We are unable
to use images or video without the permission
of the copyright holder. Please supply a contact
telephone number for the copyright holder.
|
If sending images to us, please send them in as high
a quality as possible - we will resize and optimise
them as appropriate for the feature, if we use them.
We always clearly note the source and copyright of
any material used.

Our "A Day At" features have proved very
popular because they allow our readers to see behind
the scenes at firework companies and retailers. Giving
a positive overview of your company, "A Day At"
features can give significant extra publicity here
and our readers get to know you a little more.

Are you a retailer, wholesaler or manufacturer and
demsontrating your stock to potential trade customers
this year? Would you like the evening and your stock
showcased here on UKFR to both end cusotmers AND the
fireworks trade?
If so, please contact us.
Whether it's a demonstration of consumer or professional
fireworks, we can travel anywhere in the UK to film
the evening and showcase it here. We have a large
- and growing - membership of people within the fireworks
trade and many retailers use our reviews and features
to help determine their own stock lines.
It also gives a fantastic opportunity for enthusiasts
- YOUR customers - to see your new stock.

High quality
material gathered from a demo night.
Whether we use the material to review the stock or
compile a feature this is an excellent opportunity
to allow an audience of up to 450,000 visitors a year
to see your fireworks.
Our Black Cat
trade feature is a good example of what we can do.
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by
working with us to promote your products.

If you are interested in having your stock reviewed,

If you are considering supplying your own material
for use on UKFR, we can assure you that we respect
copyright. We always note the source of the material,
and do not require a transfer of copyright from you
to us. In fact as you'll see with our existing features,
we are happy to note the actual author as the copyright
holder of any pictures, video or editorial supplied.
In a nutshell by supplying material for us to use,
you agree that we can use this material in a feature
here on site for an unlimited time, for no fee. However,
should anyone approach us with an enquiry to use your
work for anything, we would refer them directly to
you. As the copyright holder, you are free of course
to use your material anywhere for any reason independent
of any feature that we may create.
Please note that the final feature itself is copyright
to ourselves. This gives us no rights over your source
material nor any rights to sell on your work, but
it does protect us from being used to process or enhance
work, or edit video (for example) for use other than
on our site. If you require more clarification of
these points please contact us.
If you are interested in UKFR producing a feature
on your company or display, please be aware that ALL
material we create and publish is our own property
and we are the copyright holders. If you are wanting
your display filmed or photographed for your own commercial
use, brochures or websites etc. you would need to
employ someone to do this on a commercial basis for
you.
