In addition, the following items from this range are currently reviewed singly in our main review index: 18mm candles, Big Wheel and Star Blast.

FOUNTAIN SERIES

£6.99 each
£41.94
This range of fountains comprises of Sulphur Storm, Titan and Molten Spring but Titan was not present in this demo. Six were fired here, and the order left to right is: Sulphur, Molten, Sulphur, Molten, Molten, Sulphur - so you can easily see in the video which of these is the silver version and which is the gold version and the difference in performance. Titan, we would assume, could be a crackling version?

25MM BOMBETTES

£4.99
£39.92
This 8 shot candle comes in two versions, Fusilade and Salvo. The set up shots show a fan of three Fusilades and five Salvos, a total of eight candles. However these fans are back to back and quickmatched together for this demo so making out individual effects is almost impossible here.

MULTI EFFECT MINES

£7.99
£47.94
This range of mines comprises of Royal Crescendo and Whistling Ovation (both double effect). These were paired up and fired in three places giving a total of six mines but it is interesting to note that there were "only" six breaks, so "double effect" refers to the actual effect, not the number of shots. These are, as far as we can see here, both single shot mines. You can make out both mines fairly easily in the video clip but note that the higher effect is missing from the video, which is focussing lower down. You can see the overall effects better in the long exposure shots below.

24 SHOT NOISE PACK

£13.99 for both cakes
£20.97
This pack of two 24 shot cakes comprises of Atomic Boom and Thundery Stars. The Standard catalogue shows these as a pack of two for £13.99 but it is likely that retailers will split them, so expect a final RRP of £6.99 each, the same as the 24 shot Meteorite and Star Thunder cakes. From the number of shots shown in the video it looks like three cakes were fired here, but we do not know what combination of the two cakes this included other than there was at least one Atomic Boom as it is shown paired up with Meteorite in the set up shots.

STAR THUNDER

£6.99
£20.97
This is a 24 shot cake and three are shown being fired in our video clip. One cake was lit slightly later so after the first two die down, you can get a good indication of the effects of a single unit as the third cake finishes on its own.

METEORITE

£6.99
£20.97
This is a 24 shot cake and three are shown being fired in our video clip. All the effects are the same throughout each cake except for the colour of the star on ascent, so the video gives an excellent idea of how Meteorite performs.

81 SHOT SERIES

£14.99
£44.97
The 81 shot series of cakes comprises of Decibel, Star Blaster and Sonar. One of each cake was fired, from the labels and the effects we think we can identify each one in the video. The first one to start has whistles and crackles, so this must be Sonar (which is labelled "Ejects whistles and crackle"). This is the one on the left of the frame. The next one is coloured stars to reports, which must be Star Blaster ("Ejects coloured stars and bangs") and is in the middle of the frame. The final one appears to be just reports only so must be Decibel ("Ejects bangs") and is on the right of the frame. The first long exposure shot is a nice view of Sonar and Decibel, the second is Sonar on its own which was the longest running of these cakes.

16 SHOT SERIES

£17.99
£107.94
The 16 shot series of cakes comprises of Flying Fish, Weeping Willow and Sky Fingers. The set up shots would indicate that there were two single units on the left and right of the firing area and four together in the middle, giving a total of six cakes and a huge £107.94 worth of effects. These are described as "Triple height combination" effects, this means a mine effect and a high effect and something in-between. It is best shown in the final long exposure shot which I think is either Weeping Willow or Sky Fingers. The single cakes either side (and the first to be fired) are the same and I think these are Flying Fish (the only ones to contain fish effects) but note that they start with a different effect which you will see in the footage. This leaves the four in the middle which appear to be Sky Finger and Weeping Willow, to my eyes the effects are very hard to distinguish, as no willow effect as such can be seen (but the cake was definitely present). These cakes produced the most spectacular long exposure shots of the night as you will see below.

19 SHOT SERIES

£11.99
£35.97
The 19 shot cakes come in three versions, Magic Waterfall, Colourful Rain and Glorious Comets. The video shows three being fired which could be one of each of these.

100+ SHOT SERIES

£25.99
£77.97
The 100+ shot series of candle barrages comprises of British Blaze, Crackling Splendour and Colour Thunder. There was one of each fired and although these were fairly close together and the effects merge a bit, we have determined from the site set up shots that the firing order is Colour Thunder on the left, British Blaze in the middle and Crackling Splendour on the right. The set up shots below are in the same order.

£40
This is a candle pot comprising of a bundle of smaller bore candles inside. The video shows a total of four units being fired but they are well fanned so you can see the effects of each one very well.
