It was a relief that the good weather held out into the evening too - in the previous display we had to contend with mist and then fog rolling in off the North Sea. The first pictures here are from my own digital stills camera which was positioned to the rear of the display. Members can click on any thumbnail to see the full sized picture.

As you can see the show was a very good mix of different coloured effects culminating in a huge green crossette finale. Well done to Jim and the Fully Fused crew.

The next shots are 35mm SLR photos from PeteB of the firing zone. I think you'll agree he did a great job. The playground at the back has added an interesting focal point.

The shot above is actually the finale barrage. You can see the huge explosion of multiple shell launches, the scene is turned green from the crossettes, and check out the portfire trails. One firer is waving to the crowd while another throws his portfire down at the end.

Next is the display video. This is edited together from all three cameras. The helmet cam provided some great up-close shots of fireworks being lit and the general chaos of the firing zone. Being an analogue camera the picture is slightly less quality than the DV cams and it suffered some picture break-up but what it did produce is well worth a look.

Thanks again to Jim and the Fully Fused crew for another great evening of fireworks.
