Welcome to the Info Bank, a section specifically aimed at
fireworks beginners. Don't know the difference between a cake
and a candle? Want to know what a mine is? The Info Bank is
here to help. It will guide you through the basics of each
type of firework.
At the top and bottom of each page you will see a series
of pictures relating to each type of firework. Simply click
on these to visit the desired section. If you're unsure what
each one means, browse each section in turn.
Video clips are included in some sections. You will need
a computer that supports Windows Media to be able to view
these.
The "Other" section contains information about
set-pieces, portfires, sparklers and other items that don't
fit anywhere else!

Once you've brushed up on the basic firework types you can
start to plan your display with our comprehensive Display
Advice section then brush up on your Firework
Safety. Ready to choose your fireworks? Take a look at
our huge Review section to find
the best pyro for your money.
