Question: How can you stick eight big, loud, gold comet effects in a candle, call it a "Blockbuster" and sell it for £12, when MLE can provide one more shot, stick them in a cake and charge half the price? Answers on a postcard to Vulcan. Wizards Spell is another cake from MLE that proves semiprofessional effects need not have to be cat 4 and are not necessarily expensive. Here we have nine 28mm bore shots that do everything a Blockbuster can do, from the gold comet to the brilliant gold break, and yet is half the price. On effects alone, this is a stunning cake but from a price point of view, this is obscene! Forget about £12 candles. Buy two of these!! For smaller budgets, this is a cracking buy that will make your audience think you've spent a lot more, for bigger budgets this is a good option for much cheaper big-bore gold effects. Well done MLE.
Firer's opinion: "Another so called "small firework" that produced effects much bigger than the size should dictate. OK! I knew beforehand that it contained 9 x 28mm bore (so it should have been good) but that's not the half of it. Nine shots of golden glittering brocade fill the night's sky and at the paltry cost of £6. Personally, gold brocade is another one of my favorite effects. Its not picked up too well on the video clip, but I can assure you that each break was very large, very saturated and fairly long lasting. A very clever idea putting 9 x 28mm bore in a "small" firework. It's still difficult to believe that such large and impressive effects come from such a small box. I challenge most people not to be impressed with this one. " - Tony Webster
